StatMohamed Salah reaches 20-goal mark for eighth season in a row
By Glenn Price
The Egyptian's first-half finish away at West Ham United on Sunday saw him bring up the milestone for the eighth campaign in a row.
That figure is two better than the previous club record, set by Ian Rush between 1981-82 and 1986-87.
Only Rush (nine) has more 20-goal seasons in total for Liverpool than Salah, who arrived in the summer of 2017.
The No.11's strike at London Stadium came soon after he had assisted Cody Gakpo for the Reds' second goal of the evening.
That means Salah has registered a goal and an assist in eight Premier League games already in 2024-25 – a new seasonal record by any player in the competition's history.
