Liverpool's No.11 scored five times in his three league appearances during the period, producing doubles against Brighton & Hove Albion and Everton, along with a finish in last Sunday's win over Nottingham Forest.

He has been named on a six-man shortlist for the prize that also includes Douglas Luiz (Aston VIlla), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Pedro Neto (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Declan Rice (Arsenal) and Cristian Romero (Tottenham Hotspur).

Supporters can vote for Salah here and have until 12pm GMT on Monday November 6 to do so.
