That second-half strike saw him eclipse the total Sergio Aguero amassed for Manchester City from 2011 until 2021.
All but two of Salah's Premier League goals have come during his Reds career, which began in the summer of 2017.
He is the club's greatest goalscorer in the competition after surpassing Robbie Fowler's previous record of 128 in March 2023.
Salah will now have his sights on fourth place in the all-time Premier League chart, currently occupied by Andrew Cole (187).
