NewsMissy Bo Kearns named Young Player of the Year at Women's Football Awards
The 22-year-old has been a key part of Matt Beard's squad throughout the campaign and earned the accolade alongside Chelsea's Lauren James.
Kearns has regularly featured for the Reds during their first season back in the Barclays Women's Super League - making 21 appearances and scoring four goals - while also representing England at U23 level.
"I'm over the moon to win the award," Kearns told Liverpoolfc.com. "Thanks to everyone who voted - it's great to win it alongside Lauren, who has been my mate since U15 level at England.
"Each nominee is a friend and someone I have played with and it just shows how far the game is going and how much youth talent is out there.
"It's unbelievable to see. It's a proud moment for my family and hopefully I can keep kicking on and achieving things."
She accepted the prize during the awards on Thursday evening in London, with the ceremony the first publicly-voted initiative to recognise all levels of the women's game.
