AcademyMichael Laffey signs first professional contract with LFC
The Merseyside-born midfielder has been with the Reds since U10 level after a switch from Everton.
With a good range of passing and impressive awareness, the 17-year-old helps knit his team together in the middle of the park, looking to get on the ball and impose a tempo on the game.
Set-piece delivery is another strength and he can regularly be found on corners and free-kicks.
Laffey made his U18s debut last season and has continued to be part of Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side in the current campaign.
