Matt Beard has been shortlisted for the Barclays Women’s Super League Manager of the Month award for March.

The Liverpool FC Women boss guided his team to two wins, over Aston Villa and West Ham United respectively, and a draw with Everton last month, with the Reds’ sole defeat in four WSL outings coming against league leaders Manchester City as their push for a top-four finish continued.

Beard is up against Mikey Harris (Brighton & Hove Albion), Emma Hayes (Chelsea) and Gareth Taylor (Manchester City) for the March award, with this representing his fifth nomination of the season. He won the accolade in December.
