NewsMarie Höbinger nominated for WSL Goal of the Month award

The summer signing opened the scoring in Liverpool’s clash with Villa at Prenton Park, dispatching a rising strike into the top corner from the edge of the box en route to a 2-0 win.

That effort is one of eight shortlisted for the October prize, alongside goals from Aimee Palmer, Lauren Hemp, Cloe Lacasse, Eveliina Summanen, Grace Clinton, Martha Thomas and Katie McCabe.
