TransferMarcelo Pitaluga joins Macclesfield on loan

The Brazilian 19-year-old established himself in the Reds’ U23s side in 2021-22 and was named on the first-team bench four times throughout last season.
An October 2020 arrival from Fluminense in his homeland, Pitaluga trains with Jürgen Klopp’s squad and will now seek to gain more senior experience with Macclesfield.
The Silkmen will compete in the Northern Premier League Division One West - the eighth tier of the English football pyramid - in 2022-23 after they won the North West Counties Football League Premier Division title last term.
