NewsLucy Parry and Fuka Nagano injury update ahead of LFC Women v Chelsea

The full-back will miss the encounter with the reigning Barclays Women's Super League champions at St Helens Stadium due to an Achilles problem.

Fuka Nagano, meanwhile, will continue to be assessed after she was forced off in last weekend's 2-1 win at Aston Villa following a knock to her ankle.

Reds manager Matt Beard told his pre-match press conference: "Lucy Parry will be out. Her Achilles has flared up again.

"And right now, Fuka is probably 50-50 but we'll obviously give Fuka as long as we can.

"Everyone else is fit apart from Sophie Roman Haug and Sofie Lundgaard."
