Conor Bradley was part of the Papa Johns Trophy-winning Bolton Wanderers team at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

The on-loan Liverpool full-back started the final against Plymouth Argyle and went on to play every minute for Ian Evatt’s side in a 4-0 victory.

Bolton surged into an early two-goal lead through Kyle Dempsey’s header and Dion Charles’ finish, before Elias Kachunga and Gethin Jones extended their advantage in the second half and secured the silverware.

Fidel O’Rourke will be following Bradley to Wembley after Halifax Town reached the FA Trophy final.

The Reds striker came off the bench in the closing stages of Saturday’s semi-final versus Altrincham, which Halifax Town won 3-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

They will now face Gateshead FC in the tournament’s showpiece on Sunday May 21.

Elsewhere for Liverpool’s on-loan players at the weekend, Ashley Hodson provided a winning goal for Birmingham City against Southampton.

The forward found the net just six minutes after being sent on as a substitute to give her team a 2-1 win in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
