Leighton Clarkson recorded two assists for Aberdeen on Saturday to help his loan side to a 3-1 victory over Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

The midfielder found space to play a ball across the box for Ross McCrorie to add the Dons' second of the game, before setting up substitute Marley Watkins with a clever pass for a third goal, which sealed the spoils.

Clarkson has now recorded 10 goal involvements – five goals and five assists – across all competitions for Aberdeen this season.

Also north of the border, defender Luke Chambers completed 90 minutes in Kilmarnock's 3-1 defeat by Rangers at Ibrox.

Lucy Parry also featured in Hibernian Women's 4-0 victory over Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

In the English Football League, Conor Bradley appeared for Bolton Wanderers in their 0-0 draw with Morecambe in League One, while in League Two Jarell Quansah helped keep a clean sheet for Bristol Rovers against Barnsley which resulted in the same scoreline.

In the National League, Fidel O'Rourke took part in FC Halifax's draw with Dorking Wanderers and in the National League North Jack Bearne completed 66 minutes of Kidderminster Harriers' stalemate with Boston United - with both games ending 0-0.

Ashley Hodson was a second-half substitute for Birmingham City Women in a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers, while Charlotte Clarke was selected in goal for West Bromwich Albion Women in a 2-1 defeat by Liverpool Feds.
