Injuries
Conor Bradley
Bradley had to be substituted after sustaining an injury during the first half of the 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur on December 20.
Arne Slot on December 23: "Conor will be 50-50 [for the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on December 27]. He’s not training with us today, not tomorrow, so Friday we will see exactly where he is [and] if he can be in the squad for the weekend."
Wataru Endo
The midfielder has been out of action with an ankle injury since appearing in the 3-3 draw at Leeds United on December 6.
Slot said on December 23 that he will not be available for the meeting with Wolves.
Cody Gakpo
Gakpo has been sidelined with a muscle problem suffered in the draw with Leeds.
Slot indicated on December 23 that the forward may be fit for the game against Wolves.
Joe Gomez
The No.2 picked up a muscle injury during the first half of the victory against Brighton & Hove Albion on December 13.
Slot said on December 23 that Gomez will not be fit to play against Wolves.
Alexander Isak
Isak is facing a spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury that included a fibula fracture on December 22. He sustained the issue while scoring against Tottenham.
Slot on December 23: "It’s going to be a long injury. For a couple of months. That’s a big, big, big disappointment for him and as a result of that of course also for us.”
Slot did also confirm that he is confident Isak will be able to play again during the 2025-26 season.
Giovanni Leoni
The defender is amid a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury at the end of his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup.
Slot on September 26: "He is not in a good place, of course, because he tore his ACL and it means he will be out for a year. Being so young and coming to a new country and playing so well in your first game... it's very hard to take the positive side.
"There's never a positive side – but you always try to look at a positive side and that is that he is still so young, so he has so many years still to go after he recovers from a terrible injury like that."
Availability
Mohamed Salah
After featuring off the bench versus Brighton on December 13, the forward is now with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Salah scored a late winner in their first group game against Zimbabwe on December 22. Egypt also face South Africa (December 26) and Angola (December 29).
Suspensions
Dominik Szoboszlai will serve a one-match Premier League suspension for the meeting with Wolves on December 27 after he received his fifth top-flight yellow card of the season in the victory at Tottenham.
Ibrahima Konate is one yellow card away from incurring a one-match suspension in the Premier League.
Bradley is one yellow card away from incurring a one-match suspension in the Champions League.
