Thiago Alcantara

Thiago sustained a muscle injury when he made his first appearance of 2023-24 as a substitute in the defeat at Arsenal on February 4.

Jürgen Klopp was asked before Liverpool's Emirates FA Cup fifth-round tie versus Southampton whether there is a timescale in place for Thiago's return and if he will play again this season.

Klopp on February 27: "There's no timescale. I don't know, to be honest. It's a couple of things [that] he has to do now from a medical point of view and then I don't know if that will then mean that he can play again [this season].

"That's not a short-term thing, that's why I'm not really in the subject. It's not that he might be in training in two weeks or stuff like this, so that's why I'm not 100 per cent in it. I cannot say more about it, to be honest."

Stefan Bajcetic

The midfielder has continued his comeback following long-term injury with appearances for the U21s of 30 and 45 minutes on April 12 and April 22 respectively.

Conor Bradley

The full-back is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering an injury during the defeat by Crystal Palace on April 14.

Klopp on April 17: "I think Ryan Gravenberch had a similar thing, so first week of May he [Bradley] should be back in training. When is that? Two weeks' time. [He] overstretched the ligaments, not serious-serious but serious enough."

Ben Doak

The young forward is on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury while representing the Reds' U21s.

Pepijn Lijnders on December 19: "That's not a good one. He teared his lateral meniscus, which needs surgery. That one will take [a] longer time. He is young, he is a fit guy, he is a positive guy so for sure he will come back stronger, and we need him to come back with the same fire he has with the ball, how he was. He can take time and we will wait for him."

Diogo Jota

Klopp revealed on April 23 that Jota is set to be out of action for around two weeks as a result of an issue picked up while scoring in the win at Fulham the previous weekend.

Klopp on April 23: "Diogo scored the goal, felt a little bit and now we found out it's a little bit more. So he will be out for two weeks.

"It's a small one but we are late in the season, so obviously now it's not a great moment for each injury pretty much. It's not a big one. When I say two weeks, actually really it's pretty much nothing but enough to not be available."

Joel Matip

The centre-back sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a challenge in the second half of Liverpool's win over Fulham on December 3.

Matip subsequently underwent a successful operation and is continuing his rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre. He is expected to miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

Klopp on April 3: "Joel [is] running – he hates that! But he is able to run again, so that's good.

"I think since he got injured this is the best moment because it was very painful in the beginning, very painful for him [but] he got through that and now he is pain-free. But, that now all takes time so I don't think the season is long enough for him."
