The Reds have won each of their last five WSL games against Brighton and could set a new club record for the longest winning streak against an opponent in the competition.

Brighton won on their first trip to face Liverpool in the WSL in January 2019, but are one of two sides to lose on each of their visits to face the Reds in the competition since they were promoted back in 2022 (lost three, also West Ham United).

Ceri Holland has netted four times for the Reds versus the Seagulls in the WSL before.

Brighton have lost each of their last three games in the WSL and are seeking to avoid suffering four successive defeats in the competition for the first time since January 2022.

Gareth Taylor has faced Brighton nine times previously as a manager and won seven of them, with 30 goals scored (one draw, one defeat).

Brighton have lost 12 of their last 15 WSL away games (won three), including 11 of 14 under manager Dario Vidosic. Only West Ham (12) have suffered more defeats on the road in the top flight since the start of last season.

The visitors have hit the woodwork more than any other side in the division so far this season (five).
