NewsLiverpool U21s learn group-stage opponents for 2026-27 EFL Trophy

Thursday's draw paired the young Reds with Huddersfield Town, Doncaster Rovers and Rochdale in Group H of the northern section.
Sixteen U21s sides will be involved in the 64-team competition, with the rest made up by all League One and League Two clubs.
The top two from each group progress to the knockout rounds.
Fixture details will be announced in due course but Liverpool will face Huddersfield, Doncaster and Rochdale away from home in the opening phase.
