AcademyLiverpool U18s complete Germany training camp with 1860 Munich friendly

The Reds were narrowly beaten 1-0 by their hosts as they continued summer preparations ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

They were led by U18s assistant manager Anthony Ryan, who told Liverpoolfc.com of the experience for the squad: "We have had a brilliant week away in Germany, the boys have worked ever so hard and there are a lots of positives for us to take.

"We played very well against a good 1860 Munich side; we created some good chances so there are lots of positives and also room to improve as always.

"The facilities over here in Germany have been fantastic and we were well looked after. We have two more friendlies back on home soil next week when we play Hull City and West Ham."
