Liverpool have asked about the availability of Italy international forward Federico Chiesa of Juventus.

Chiesa is in the final year of his contract at the Serie A side and is understood to be available for around £13million.

The player, who is 27 in October, has fallen out of favour under new Juventus head coach Thiago Motta and failed to make the squad for the team's first two league games of the season.
