NewsLiverpool score in 40th consecutive Premier League fixture
By Chris Shaw
Federico Chiesa’s 87th-minute strike away at Crystal Palace ensured the Reds’ run of not failing to net in the top flight reached a new milestone.
This streak is now the outright second-longest in the division’s history, moving beyond the 39 achieved by Tottenham Hotspur from 2023 to 2024.
The competition record is held by Arsenal, who were on target in 55 successive Premier League fixtures across 2001 and 2002.
