Liverpool are eyeing a move for Parma centre-back Giovanni Leoni as they look to bolster their defensive ranks this summer.

Reports have suggested the Reds are now seriously considering an offer for the 18-year-old with Arne Slot continuing to monitor the situation of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.

However, a move for both players has not yet been ruled out with Liverpool reportedly keeping tabs on both defenders.

Eagles chairman Steve Parish recently admitted that a move for Guehi is likely, unless they can convince the central defender to sign a new deal.
