Liverpool want to make Euro 2024 winner Martin Zubimendi the first major signing of the Arne Slot era.

The Reds have earmarked a move for Spain international Zubimendi as they look to bolster their defensive midfield options.

It is understood the 25-year-old has a release clause at Real Sociedad of €60million (£51.65m).
