Liverpool have been handed a boost in any bid to sign Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, with the possibility of a discount for the Frenchman.

The Serie A giants have transfer plans of their own that will require them to offload the 25-year-old.

The Reds, in addition to Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, have been linked with a move for the son of World Cup winner Lilian Thuram.

The Juventus star played 45 times for the club last season but now looks set to part ways.
