Liverpool FC opens books of condolence in remembrance of Matt Beard

Former Liverpool FC Women manager Beard passed away suddenly at the age of 47 last weekend. The thoughts of everyone at the club remain with his family and friends at this devastating time.

Beard had two successful spells in charge of the Reds, winning back-to-back Women's Super League titles in his first stint and returning in 2021 and leading the club to promotion from the second tier.

The books of condolence will be available for supporters and members of the public to sign at Anfield and St Helens Stadium.

Anfield

Book located at the Anfield Road Stand reception. Opening hours: 10am-5pm from Wednesday September 24 to Sunday September 28.

St Helens Stadium

Book located at the South Stand reception and can be signed ahead of the home matches against Sunderland (Wednesday September 24, 5pm-7pm) and Manchester United (Sunday September 28, 10am-12pm).
