ClubLiverpool FC to march with Pride 2025

Liverpool's Pride march takes place this Saturday, and will see LFC welcome staff, family, friends, fans and supporter groups to join the march for what promises to be a fun inclusive celebration of pride.

This year, which marks 13 years since LFC became the first Premier League club to participate in a Pride march, the club will be hosting a series of activities throughout the summer, bringing colleagues, supporters and local communities together.

LFC Foundation's annual Pride badge competition has once again showcased the creativity and passion of young fans, with more than 250 entries submitted this year. The winning design, created by a 10-year-old LFC fan, perfectly captured the spirit of inclusion and respect. More than 1,000 badges featuring their design will be distributed during the march.

Supporters can also show their colours by exploring the club's Pride retail range, which is available online, in stores and via the LFC Store app. The collection includes Pride scarves, clothing and souvenirs, with a percentage of proceeds donated to local LGBT+ charities. Through these efforts, LFC has donated £15,000 to LGBT+ causes over the past three years.

Rishi Jain, director of impact at LFC, said: "We are proud to support Liverpool Pride and to be marching alongside our supporters, colleagues, fan groups and the wider community this weekend to celebrate in what is always a brilliant event."

Ant Hopkinson, chief executive at Sahir House, added: "We're incredibly proud to have Liverpool Football Club supporting Liverpool's Pride. The new name – Liverpool's Pride – reflects a shift in ownership, purpose and place, and that this is Liverpool's Pride, rooted in our communities and led by and for the people of this city.

"LFC's presence alongside Everton sends a powerful message of unity, inclusion and love. When our city's two great clubs stand together in support of our LGBTQ+ community, it shows that football really can be a force for good. This means the world to so many people across our region, and it reminds us that no-one walks alone when we stand united."
