NewsLiverpool to face Sparta Prague in Europa League last 16

Today’s draw in Nyon, Switzerland paired the Reds with the Czech side for a tie to be played over two legs next month.

Sparta will host the first leg at Stadion Letna on Thursday March 7 (5.45pm GMT kick-off) and Jürgen Klopp’s team will be at home at Anfield for the return game on Thursday March 14 (8pm kick-off).

Liverpool and Sparta have met in just one previous tie, which also came in this competition, in February 2011. The Reds won 1-0 on aggregate.
