The Reds’ U18s have reached the competition’s last eight after victories over Fleetwood Town, Arsenal and Fulham so far.
Leeds, meanwhile, confirmed their spot in the next round by defeating Sheffield United 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw this evening.
Quarter-final ties are scheduled to be played by Saturday March 9, with further details to follow on Liverpoolfc.com.
