The Reds are set to return to the annual curtain-raiser fixture for the first time since winning it in 2022, having been crowned Premier League champions.
Their opponents were confirmed today as Palace triumphed in the Emirates FA Cup final, beating Manchester City 1-0 at Wembley.
Fixture and ticket details for the Community Shield will be announced on Liverpoolfc.com in due course.
