Liverpool 'have held talks with representatives of RB Leipzig star Dominik Szoboszlai', but his £60m release clause 'expires on Friday'.

The 22-year-old was one of the standout performers in the Bundesliga last season and has also been of interest to Newcastle.

According to the Athletic, the Reds are exploring a deal to sign him this summer, while accepting it will be a difficult move to get across the line.
