NewsLiverpool to contest 2025 Community Shield

The Reds were crowned as Premier League champions for 2024-25 on Sunday and will therefore be involved in next season's curtain-raiser.
The annual Community Shield traditionally sees England's league champions meet the FA Cup winners, with Crystal Palace and Manchester City set to clash in the final of that competition on May 17.
Fixture and ticket details for the 2025 Community Shield will be confirmed on Liverpoolfc.com in due course.
The Reds last participated in the Community Shield in 2022, beating Manchester City 3-1 at King Power Stadium.
