Liverpool are optimistic they can complete an incredible deal for Kylian Mbappe next summer, according to a stunning report, with the player set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

Mbappe's future at PSG has looked increasingly uncertain after being heavily linked with an exit from the Parisiens this summer. Al-Hilal made a world record bid of £257million for the French forward while Real Madrid was also a rumoured destination.

The former World Cup winner was even banished to play with PSG's B-team as a feud between himself and the club developed, but for now he is back in the first team picture under boss Luis Enrique.
