Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly battling for the signature of Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano.

The defender is said to be high on the acquisition list for both Premier League clubs with the Bundesliga man out of contract next summer.

The Reds, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan have all been credited with strong interest in his signature and one of those suitors could be forced into a move in January to acquire his services.
