According to reports, Manchester United have held 'exploratory talks' with the striker's representatives in recent days over a move.
The Reds, however, are said to be among a number of other clubs monitoring a potential deal for the forward this summer ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also credited with strong interest in Ekitike, who scored 15 Bundesliga goals last season.
