NewsLFC Women squad latest: Updates on Nagano, Kirby and more
The midfielder was absent for the midweek Adobe Women’s FA Cup win away at the Hammers due to illness.
But manager Matt Beard expects her to be available for selection when the teams meet again in the Barclays Women’s Super League on Sunday at St Helens Stadium.
Hannah Silcock, Jasmine Matthews and Niamh Fahey remain sidelined, however.
“Hannah Silcock, Jas and Niamh are out,” Beard told reporters during Friday’s pre-match press conference.
“Fuka was missing in the week with a fever, so she should be back available.
“And then we’re still obviously building Faye Kirby back up now, who has been in full training now for three weeks. The plan is to get her some games in the academy and then hopefully she’ll be available for the squad.
“So we have got a pretty strong squad to choose from.”
Kick-off at St Helens Stadium on Sunday is 2pm GMT and ticket details are available here.
