NewsLFC Women and Cadbury unite to support Fans Supporting Foodbanks at Anfield
The Reds take on Arsenal at Anfield in the Barclays Women's Super League this Saturday in a 1pm BST kick-off.
The collaboration shines a spotlight on the invaluable work FSF continues to do across the Liverpool City Region, bringing fans together to help those most in need and trying to ensure no-one goes without.
Cadbury has also committed to matching donations made across the full season, helping to further amplify the impact of supporters' generosity throughout the campaign.
To support the partnership, Cadbury arranged a surprise visit from LFC Women players Gemma Bonner, Rachael Laws and Marie Höbinger to dedicated supporter Leanne Dixon, a long‑standing FSF volunteer who has been instrumental in organising collections at LFC Women's matches.
Leanne first joined Fans Supporting Foodbanks seven years ago and has since played a key role in setting up and running collections on matchdays.

She said: "When I was a child, I was in the same position as some people. I was on free school meals and my parents needed to use the foodbanks, so I know what that's like.
"We don't expect everyone to bring a bag of food. If one fan brought one item of food or one toiletry item, it could go such a long way to help."
As part of the surprise, Leanne was treated to a private tour of the AXA Melwood Training Centre, as well as match tickets and a signed shirt, in recognition of her outstanding commitment to the cause.
Louise Page, partnerships and owned channels lead at Mondelez International, said: "Our partnership with Liverpool FC is built on shared values of generosity and ensuring all fans feel included. We were thrilled to reward Leanne with this unique experience for the generosity she displays week in, week out for Fans Supporting Foodbanks.
"Cadbury is incredibly proud to work with the club and FSF and to witness the positive impact it is having in local communities across Liverpool and beyond."
Supporters attending the final game of the season are encouraged to donate, with key items including rice, pasta, toiletries and nappies.
Pre-match entertainment will feature DJ Lauren Lo Sung, alongside a range of family-friendly activities, including a live Q&A with players, music from local artists and an appearance from Mighty Red.
Supporters can find full ticketing information through LFC Women's ticketing hub.
