NewsLFC U21s to face Blackpool, Crewe and Harrogate in Bristol Street Motors Trophy

Today’s draw for the opening phase of the competition pitted the young Reds against Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra and Harrogate Town in Group E of the northern section.

Group fixtures will begin to be played in September, with match details to be confirmed on Liverpoolfc.com in due course.

The top two teams in each of the 16 groups – eight northern, eight southern – will advance to the knockout stages, with ties remaining regionalised until the quarter-finals.

In the UK, all Bristol Street Motors Trophy games will be televised live by Sky Sports.
