To mark the end of LGBT+ History Month, Liverpool FC presented Kop Outs, the club's LGBT+ supporters group, with its official print from the Premier League's 'With Pride' campaign.

Cassie Rattray, co-chair of Kop Outs, was welcomed to Anfield to receive the print, presented to her by former Reds Neil Mellor and Becky Easton.

The bespoke artwork was produced by artist Ashton Attzs as the Premier League celebrated its clubs' LGBT+ supporters groups as part of its new 'With Pride' campaign.

Speaking about the 'With Pride' campaign, Rattray outlined the importance of ensuring there is a real meaning behind the initiative and was pleased to see the educational resources that are being introduced across the Premier League.

She said: "As an LGBTQ+ supporters group, it has been wonderful to see the thought and detail that has gone into the Premier League's 'With Pride' campaign. For Kop Outs, we believe inclusion has to be a genuine commitment, not just a tick box or a date in the calendar.

"This is why we are particularly pleased to see a strong focus on LGBTQ+ education for young people, staff and academy players, as we know that education is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting change.

"The bespoke artwork by Ashton Attzs has also been incredibly meaningful to us, and to see our football club support it in such a visible way has been fantastic for our members to see. Artwork like this can help create conversations that bring about understanding and change.

"Chatting with Neil and Becky has reminded me of the power of storytelling and allyship. The three of us discussed our stories and whilst they vary massively, we all left agreeing on one thing: LGBTQ+ people deserve to love and enjoy this sport free of abuse or discrimination and for that to happen, change is needed."

The campaign was officially launched in early February as part of LGBT+ History Month and was marked at the home game against Manchester City.

The club also hosted a webinar for all employees to explore what allyship looks like in 2026 and why it is so important.

Allyship continues to play a vital role in breaking down barriers and further developing a culture where everyone feels welcome in the game – something the club continually demonstrates its commitment to through its Red Together initiative.

Following the presentation, Mellor spoke about the need for allyship in football and how he feels everyone can play their part in ensuring everyone feels welcome and safe watching the game they love.

He said: "It's important that football, and of course wider society, is a place for everybody. We want to see everyone standing together. For me it's been eye-opening to learn how some people still don't feel safe or as welcome in a football environment, and that shocked me and we want to do what we can to ensure that's no longer the case.

"It's easy to be an ally and everyone can do it. It's about having an understanding of how some of our fellow supporters feel and doing everything we can to ensure that we make everyone feel a part of the football club. The club does some fantastic work already in this area and we have seen great progress. But we can still all do more – whether we are a fan, former player or member of staff – to help drive further change."

Easton added: "It's crucial that we have these campaigns within football and work closely with groups like Kop Outs, because there's still a lot of work to be done. But if the campaigns can change one or two people's opinions at a time for the better then it's worth doing.

"To be an ally, you don't have to be outspoken. It's just about being a decent human being and making everybody feel comfortable and safe and anybody can be an ally in that way. If you can then have an influence on the people around you to think in the same way and support inclusion then I think that's the best way for us to progress this further."
