LFC pays respects at 9/11 Memorial ahead of 25th anniversary

Almost 3,000 people were killed as a result of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre that occurred on September 11, 2001.

With the Reds currently in Manhattan as part of the ongoing pre-season tour of the USA, ambassadors Natasha Dowie and Ian Rush visited the site at Ground Zero.

Alongside them were LFC chief executive officer Billy Hogan and chief legal and external affairs officer Jonathan Bamber.

The group laid two wreaths at the Survivor Tree on behalf of LFC and Forever Reds, and paused in remembrance to mark the forthcoming 25th year since 9/11.
