Nathaniel Phillips came off the bench to help Celtic to a dramatic victory at Motherwell on Saturday.

The centre-half was introduced in the 62nd minute of the Scottish Premiership fixture, marking his return from a minor ankle injury.

Celtic took a 1-0 lead in the 87th minute through Luis Palma, only for Motherwell to equalise with 95 on the clock. However, Matt O'Riley struck in the seventh minute of added time to extend the Hoops' advantage at the top of the table.

Elsewhere in Scotland, Owen Beck started and completed Dundee's goalless draw at Hibernian.

Tyler Morton, meanwhile, played for the whole of Hull City's 1-1 draw with Plymouth Argyle in the Championship.

In League Two, Luca Stephenson appeared just after the hour mark in Barrow's 3-2 win over Doncaster Rovers, while Harvey Davies was in goal for Crewe Alexandra's 3-3 draw at Wrexham.

Luke Hewitson's Stalybridge Celtic were beaten 1-0 by Runcorn Linnets.

Overseas, Jakub Ojrzynski kept his first clean sheet for FC Den Bosch on Friday night in their 3-0 victory away to Groningen in the Netherlands' second tier.

Fabio Carvalho was a late substitute in RB Leipzig's 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, while Sepp van den Berg's FSV Mainz 05 were defeated 3-0 by Bayer Leverkusen.

Anderson Arroyo and FC Andorra were beaten 3-1 by Albacete.

On Sunday, Hannah Silcock was a starter for Blackburn Rovers Women in their 2-0 success against Lewes FC Women in the FA Women's Championship.
