ClubLFC Foundation wins at Sports Business Awards 2022
The Sports Business Awards recognise and reward achievement by the teams behind the scenes that facilitate sporting excellence and endeavours - championing their resilience, adaptability and resourcefulness.
The 2022 ceremony was held on Friday at the Kia Oval in London. Judges included five-time Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave and Philip Bernie, head of BBC TV Sport.
Matt Parish, CEO of LFC Foundation, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised by Sports Business with this award.
“It’s a great accolade for all the hard work that our Foundation and Red Neighbours teams do every single day in the community, supporting local people across the Liverpool City Region.”
LFC’s sustainability strategy, The Red Way, was also recognised by winning silver in the Sustainability in Sport category.
