NewsLFC Foundation confirms Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton for annual Darts Night at Anfield

With a major world title and multiple televised championship wins between them, Bunting and Clayton bring further star quality to this year's event.

Lifelong Reds fan Bunting lifted the BDO World Championship in 2014, before going on to become a major winner on the PDC circuit, while Clayton has established himself among darts' elite, winning four televised majors in a remarkable 2021 campaign and helping Wales secure two World Cup of Darts titles.

The duo will join former players Steve McManaman, David James and LFC Foundation community ambassador Chris Kirkland for the fundraising event, supported by the club's official betting partner Ladbrokes, which will take place on Friday October 30 at the Dugout lounge, Anfield.

Now in its second year, Darts Night has moved to a Friday to kick off the Halloween weekend in style, and guests are encouraged to get creative, with a prize on offer for the best fancy-dress costume.

Supporters will get the chance to grab their own darts and go head-to-head with a legend as part of 'Play the Legend', as well as watching former Reds and professional darts players compete throughout the evening.

Newly announced guests Bunting and Clayton will take to the oche alongside the former Reds, with the night also featuring the 101 Challenge, prize draws and interactive competitions throughout, while Scouse musician and DJ Katy Alex keeps the energy high.

Last season, LFC Foundation supported more than 145,000 people, with 20 per cent living within the most-deprived communities in the UK, underlining the continued scale and reach of the charity's work across the region.
