MatchLeeds United v Liverpool: Team news
The No.12 has resumed full training with the Reds having been sidelined by injury for four games since the last international break.
"I expect him to train today and then he is available to be in the squad tomorrow," Arne Slot said at his pre-match press conference on Friday morning.
The Reds head coach also confirmed there were no new injury concerns following the 1-1 draw at home to Sunderland on Wednesday.
"Joe Gomez got a knock in the West Ham game but was still able to start. He couldn't make the full 90 minutes but I think he will be able to train again today," said Slot.
"Yesterday was a recovery day for most of them, today we will train again and let's see where they are."
Jeremie Frimpong is still recovering from a hamstring problem and Giovanni Leoni is a long-term absentee with an anterior cruciate ligament tear.
While previewing the Elland Road encounter with the media, Slot was asked specifically about Mohamed Salah and Federico Chiesa too.
Of the former, who was introduced from the bench at half-time in midweek, he said: "Every player is in my mind to start a game of football because we have so many good players.
"Mo has been such an exceptional player for us. He's always in my mind to start or to come in."
And on how close Chiesa is to starting, the boss commented: "As I just said, every player has a possibility to start.
"But we have many options to start in his position, as I said so many times before. But he's indeed having his impact coming off the bench a few times.
"Normally you bring a striker in to score a goal, but he in this situation [in stoppage time versus Sunderland] kept on running in a moment where a player could also feel, 'Hmm, I don't think I can do a lot anymore because he's going to go one-v-one.'
"So, it tells you also the mentality he has not to concede, and that's a good thing because that's what not only defenders should have, that's also what attackers should have."
Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai are both a yellow card away from a one-match Premier League suspension.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke, meanwhile, offered a comprehensive update on the condition of his squad while speaking to the media on Thursday.
The home team will definitely be without Daniel James and Sean Longstaff, while forwards Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are doubts.
"We need to take some late decisions, like always when you have such a quick turnaround," said Farke. "We have a few players who are a bit more of a major doubt.
"Lukas Nmecha with hamstring problems after the last game, we have to assess him [to see] if he is really available. Dominic Calvert-Lewin with some calf problems after the last game - also a question mark behind his availability.
"We have also players with lots of load, not just in this game but over the course of the last games. Especially in the positions where you have to invest a lot; so, the wing-back positions or in midfield positions."
The visit of the Reds is Leeds' third match in a week against a side who finished in the top four last term.
After suffering a stoppage-time 3-2 defeat away at Manchester City, they overcame Chelsea 3-1 on home soil on Wednesday.
Farke continued: "We have to see who will be fully recovered. For some players it's of course a bit easier once you are used, for example, to have this load, three games in seven days. So, Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, they are a bit more used to it.
"But also the players who have just joined us in the summer, for example, perhaps also from a league that didn't have the intensity like the Premier League, for them it's perhaps even a bit more difficult.
"It's positive that we have shared the load so far. Anton Stach and Gabi Gudmundsson were not too much involved against Man City, I think this is perhaps a bit helpful.
"With Ao Tanaka, it's a bit more tricky because he has played both games [and] many, many minutes in a position where he had to invest a lot.
"We have to see how quick they will recover. We need during this period the whole squad, especially in a week when you have three games against opponents where you always have to go over the limit. In these types of games, we have to go over the limit in order to be competitive."
