NewsLeanne Kiernan injury update
By Steve Hunter
The Reds will end the year with a home game against Arsenal at St Helens Stadium in the Barclays Women's Super League on Sunday, with kick-off set for 2.30pm GMT.
Kiernan is set to miss that clash with the Gunners but is expected to be available for the first game of 2025, when Liverpool face a trip to West Ham United in the Adobe Women's FA Cup.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Beard said: "Leanne is fine and we had good news on the scan.
"She will be back in the New Year for the FA Cup game, so although it's frustrating and it's an eighth body we have lost, it's the best news we could have got, to be honest with you."
