Leanne Kiernan has withdrawn from international duty with the Republic of Ireland due to a minor injury.

The Liverpool FC Women striker was not involved for her country as they beat Turkiye 1-0 on Friday in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.

And ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to Slovenia, it was announced Kiernan has left the camp.

She will now be assessed by the Reds’ medical staff ahead of the resumption of the Barclays Women’s Super League campaign away at Crystal Palace on Sunday (2pm GMT kick-off).
