NewsKieran Morrison receives Premier League 2 Player of the Season nomination

The 19-year-old has earned a place on the eight-person shortlist for the prize, selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel.

Morrison produced 14 goals and four assists in his 19 PL2 appearances for Liverpool U21s this term.

His competition for the accolade is Farhaan Ali Wahid (Fulham), Logan Briggs (Leicester City), Braiden Graham (Everton), Shumaira Mheuka (Chelsea), Harrison Murray-Campbell (Chelsea), Kian Noble (Manchester City) and George Pickford (Everton).

The winner will be revealed at the Premier League Youth Development Conference on Tuesday evening (May 12).
