The 18-year-old impressed in both of the U21s’ league fixtures last month, providing four assists across matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Reading respectively.
Morrison set up three goals as the young Reds beat Wolves 4-1 at the Academy, before teeing up Keyrol Figueroa to equalise in a 1-1 draw with Reading.
Also nominated for the prize are Yusuf Akhamrich (Tottenham Hotspur), Tyrique George (Chelsea), Trey Ogunsuyi (Sunderland), Callum Osmand (Fulham), Jemiah Umolu (Crystal Palace) and Nottingham Forest duo Joe Garner and Jack Perkins.
The winner will be selected by the Premier League Football Development Panel and announced on Friday December 13.
