AcademyKeyrol Figueroa scores twice for Liverpool U21s in friendly win at NK Celje

Celje took an early lead but the Reds responded superbly, with Ben Trueman and Afolami Onanuga adding to Figueroa's double.

The victory brought a satisfying end to a beneficial week-long training camp for Rob Page's side.

U21s player-coach Jay Spearing told Liverpoolfc.com: "It was a really pleasing performance from the boys. We scored some good goals and played some nice stuff at times.

"The lads have worked so hard during this week's training camp. We have had some long sessions and they implemented the work we have been doing in the game today, which was very pleasing."
