ReactionJeremie Frimpong: It's really frustrating but we move on to the next game
The Reds were unable to find a breakthrough at Anfield on New Year's Day and ultimately forced to settle for a point.
Speaking to Sky Sports shortly after the final whistle, Frimpong acknowledged the hosts needed to be better in the final third.
He said: "It's really frustrating. We wanted to win the game. I don't think we created that [many] chances.
"They defended well. At the end of the day, 0-0, it's very frustrating but on to the next game.
"Obviously we tried, of course we had a couple [of chances], I think I should have delivered the ball better. It's all I can say."
Liverpool's opportunity to return to winning ways arrives quickly as they head to Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
Asked how the Reds can produce an improved display, Frimpong replied: "Just by training every day, just recover, because we know what we can do.
"We create a lot of chances, so we know what we can do. We just need to go into the next game and just do what we've got to do better."
