ReactionJenna Clark on West Ham defeat and 'big games left to play'
The Reds returned from the international break with a defeat at St Helens Stadium on Sunday as Cornelia Kapocs' early own goal proved the difference.
Clark and her teammates will look to respond next weekend at leaders Manchester City, ahead of the Adobe Women's FA Cup semi-final with Brighton & Hove Albion.
The defender told Liverpoolfc.com: "It was a bit of a flat game from us in the first half and then they punished us for it.
"It can be a bit frustrating when you've built some momentum and then you have to break away again. But every team has to face that, so we can't really use that as an excuse. Did it impact today? Potentially, but we can't use it as an excuse.
"We've still got some big games left to play. The season's not finished yet, so we'll go into those games and give it our all for sure."
