ReactionJenna Clark: It's disappointing - but we've got togetherness
A late goal for the hosts meant the Reds were beaten at Copperjax Community Stadium in Barclays Women's Super League action on Sunday.
In the final minute of normal time, a penalty secured the spoils for London City as Elena Linari settled the contest from the spot.
"It was really disappointing," Clark said post-match. "I think the feeling just now is complete disappointment with the game and a little bit of frustration.
"I think we did control spells of the game, but I think in the second half we didn't do enough. I think if we knew the answer we'd be doing it.
"We're a new team and a new manager and we're still trying to find our feet. We're just not doing enough to win the games at the moment.
"We'll review the game when we come back into training. We'll look at what we did well and look at what we need to do better."
On the squad remaining together in this tough run, she added: "That's something we've always had. I think that's something we've still got and it's really strong. It's a rough time at the moment, but we've got that togetherness."
