Jasmine Matthews has been named FA Women's Championship Player of the Month for March.

The defender claims the prize for her role in putting Liverpool FC Women on course for the title during the month.

After returning from injury, Matthews played in all four of the Reds' fixtures in March, netting a late winner away at Charlton Athletic and helping keep three clean sheets.

The No.6 then scored again in the 4-2 victory at Bristol City at the start of April that clinched promotion to the Women's Super League.
