Jarell Quansah's England bowed out of the U20 World Cup after a 2-1 defeat by Italy on Wednesday night.
Liverpool defender Quansah, who started every game for his country at the tournament in Argentina, played all but the final moments of the round of 16 contest at La Plata Stadium.
Tommaso Baldanzi and Alfie Devine traded goals during the first half, before a disputed decision via a VAR review late on saw Quansah penalised for handball and Cesare Casadei convert the spot-kick to send Italy through.
