The 18-year-old, who joined the Reds as an U11 player, has further extended his time with the club by agreeing fresh terms.
A regular for the Academy’s teams in recent seasons, Balagizi was part of the side that reached the FA Youth Cup final in 2020-21.
The attacking midfielder will now gain more experience with a loan spell at League Two outfit Crawley in the forthcoming campaign.
Kevin Betsy took charge of Crawley this summer and they will begin the new league season with a trip to Carlisle United on July 30.
Balagizi was twice named on the bench for Liverpool’s first team during the last campaign.
